One of the biggest races of the year, this was a race I hadn't even planned to go to. But all previous plans got cancelled/changed, so I decided to head over and shoot this, the second or third biggest race on the KTC schedule (after the three marathon day races and maybe Fireball). The weather was great, the turnout was good, the chip-timing system worked to perfection, and a great time seemed to be had by all.

In the 10k, two Kenyans sat atop the finishing order: Ernest Kimeli in the men's race and Caroline Kiptoo won the women's side. Ryan Woods & Michael Mentz were second & third men, with Vivian Letting & Kathy Wolski rounding out the women's top-3. On the team front, Runner's Market easily captured the Open, FootRx/EBS had no trouble winning the Women's class, and All Kreatures was the fastest by a wide margin in Corporate.

The 5k races were won by Ed Wright and Whitney Holmes, with Greg Cooper & Cody Lemmons (M) and Sesalie Smathers & Tesha Haggard (F) finishing 2-3 in their respective races. There were no teams in the 5k.
