The first race of my KTC photography career. In what was to become a rarity, I was also a course monitor in addition to photographer. I had a great spot - at a clearing with a T-junction. The runners first ran across the cross of the T, then came up the vertical part and turned right to the finish line. The weather was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

As regards the winners, Mike Moran was the overall winner (I actually missed him because his number had slipped behind his back and by the time I saw his bib he was already by me) and Sally Evenden won the women's side. Chad Dean & Barry Lucas were second & third men, Tracy Brooks and Jaime Brede were 2-3 for the women. There were no teams.
