10.18.09: Atomic Duathlon

This was a lot of fun. Shooting triathlons can be an exercise in frustration for just one person (too many people doing too many different things in too many different places - requires at least two people to shoot properly) but this was different. There were just two events and since the athletes came in the same way they left it was easy to get shots of them going & coming. The only bad thing was the weather. While the sunshine was great what the photos don't show is the wind - it wasn't a constant breeze but it turned things downright cold at times. Overall though, Melton Hill Dam proved a very picturesque spot for the event and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
