10.05.10: Morristown East Cross Country Invitational Girls

The very first high-school race of my career. After receiving a phone call about this meet, I decided to head over and shoot. I think the MRHBC was brought in to manage the finish line, with officers Doug Dibb & John Smyth recording times & collecting bibs (John LeCroy may have been there too but I can't remember), plus one of the lead bicyclists was the same as most MRHBC events. The teams were a fairly diverse collection from a couple of districts & regions: Cocke County (they only had five runners so when one girl got injured they didn't get a team score), Cumberland Gap, Jefferson County, Morristown East, Sullivan South, & West Greene all were there. Team-wise, Morristown East was third, Sullivan South was second, and Cumberland Gap was the winner.
