01.04.14: The Pistol Ultra

Talk about being in something "for the long haul". In (track) racing, nowhere is this more true than the Ultra, and this one has become a classic in almost no time. The event was supposed to be a small, low-key, no-frills set of races (50k, 100k, 100 mile) last year but the runners had other ideas, signing up by the dozens. This year, having a better idea of what to expect, Will Jorgensen was prepared for the 100+ who chose to run one of the races, with two aid stations, heated restrooms, and plenty of volunteers who helped out with everything from parking beforehand to serving food & beverages during the races to packing everything up afterwards. Will's attention to detail was apparent and a very good time was had by pretty much everyone. If anyone would like prints or digital files both are available.
