03.07.09: Teen Driver Awareness 5k

Formerly December's Powell Jingle Jog, the race was renamed, as the Powell Business & Professional Association, in view of several injuries & deaths from traffic accidents attributed to the inexperience of younger drivers, wanted to raise money for driving classes to teach teens how to make wise decisions behind the wheel and the responsibility that goes with operating a 2000-6000 pound motor vehicle.

Ian Turner, Bobby Holcombe, & Paul Thames scored the overall top three spots, and on the women's side Tori Daugherty, Heather Freshwater, & Heather Klein were the top finishers. Also, photos of the award recipients were optional, so the only ones that are posted are those who wanted a photo with the given award (trophy or medal).
