04.05.09: Greenways 5k, 2-Mile Walk & Dog Jog

This is the race that starts off the KTC spring/summer series (also including Dogwood, EXPO, Fireball, Summer Solstice, & Carter Mill). Like last year, the race weather was nearly perfect (temps 70-75° and few clouds in the sky), there were a lot of people doing each event (100+ 5k'ers & 50+ walking/dog jogging), and all seemed to be having a great time. WBIR (channel 10) news anchor Robin Wilhoit was on hand to fire the gun and start the race.

Bob Adams won the mens race, Kathy Wolski took the top prize in the womens race, and All Kreatures edged TVA (by something like 14-seconds) to win Corporate.
